Execution:
For the new permanent exhibition "WHAT? WHERE? WHO? WOW! Lichtenberg" at the Lichtenberg Museum, we had the opportunity to apply and install a wide range of our services and products. In addition to conventional contour-cut texts made from self-adhesive plot films, we printed a large portion of the exhibition texts onto wooden panels using our flatbed printer. With UV direct printing, we produced all tactile elements, including Braille.

In the entrance area of the exhibition, there is a large-format grayscale photo collage that we printed on self-adhesive photo wallpaper. In addition to smaller products such as suspended arrows made of black freefoam material and printed films for window panes, our largest contribution is the suspended ceiling graphic made of honeycomb cardboard panels, which depicts a stylized map of several Berlin districts.

A wooden substructure was first installed to compensate for unevenness in the room ceiling and to create storage space for cables, etc. On this substructure, the partially contour-cut honeycomb cardboard panels were gradually screwed in place. Existing smoke detectors were also incorporated into the installation process and screwed onto the ceiling graphic. The open edges of the honeycomb cardboard panels were covered with a color-matched edge banding. The overall effect is truly impressive, however, thanks to the extensions made of self-adhesive wallpaper, which continue the motif from the map onto the walls at several points.

Below the map, a podium made of several wooden elements was constructed. We covered these with a satin-matte transparent film, which was also printed using UV direct printing. bedruckt wurde.
