Project:
Permanent exhibition "In the Wake of the SS – Female Overseers of the Ravensbrück Women's Concentration Camp" at the Ravensbrück Concentration Camp.
Tasks:
Production and installation of graphics and text elements for the permanent exhibition.
Material:
Printed foam boards, acrylic glass and ESG glass panels; SK film with matte laminate; dimmable light box without frame.
Execution:
The permanent exhibition is located in a former overseer's residence at the Ravensbrück concentration camp. In the entrance area, we designed a folding wall made of matte-laminated SK film, which displays two different motifs from various viewpoints.
The introductory text is displayed on a dimmable lightbox without a frame, mounted on a wooden substructure. The text was printed on transparent film and applied to the lightbox.
In the exhibition rooms, graphic elements were mounted on foam board panels and acrylic glass elements, which stand out significantly due to their material thickness.
In the upper floor, we outfitted picture rails with photos. The ESG glass panels were printed on the back with UV direct printing and coated with white foil for scratch protection.
Various documents, such as diary pages or newspaper articles, were printed on glossy paper and mounted as leaf elements on stainless steel rings.
