Project:
Schmidt! Democracy in Action – Helmut Schmidt Foundation

Tasks:
Production and installation of exhibition graphics

Material:
be.tex® Samba® FR with flat piping, poster paper, screen printing ink

Execution:
In Hamburg, in the premises of the Helmut Schmidt Foundation, the exhibition "Schmidt! Democracy in Action" was created for the 5th anniversary of the death of the prominent German politician. The permanent exhibition provides insights into the biography of the Hamburg native and his political career.

The graphic production started with us printing the thematic tables. We equipped the powder-coated steel plates with text and image elements using our UV direct printer, in both color and white.

Additionally, hanging from the ceiling across 270 square meters are lightboxes, which we covered with backlit fabric. The B1-certified material was printed using latex printing and equipped with a plastic edging sewn around the entire perimeter. Both colored and black-and-white graphics were produced here.

A billboard with historical campaign posters was created by us using self-adhesive poster paper. The posters, in various formats, were also produced using environmentally friendly latex printing and applied to the wall on-site.

Individual room texts were directly printed onto the walls during the on-site installation. Two texts on rough surfaces were implemented as stenciling, while the remaining texts were produced using the screen printing process. This was done on wooden walls as well as on glass.
