Project:
Window vinyl for Marché Restaurant at BER Airport
Tasks:
Production and installation of printed films on shop windows
Material:
Contour-cut plot vinyls, glass decorative vinyl, and contour-cut Squid with UV direct printing
Execution:
At the newly opened BER Airport near Berlin, Marché Mövenpick also has a restaurant in the entrance area, which we designed. The exterior windows were fully covered with silver glass decor film, printed in reverse and applied from the inside. The film is almost opaque, preventing visibility into the kitchen and office.
The visible side of the restaurant inside the airport is covered with a combination of conventional plot films and the textile privacy screen Squid. The textile decoration film was also designed using UV direct printing and contour-cut. Particularly stylish are the partial graphics, where motifs were merged with both materials, creating a very harmonious effect.
The Squid provides light privacy in the lower area but is not completely opaque.
