Crunchyroll

In January 2026, we had the opportunity to execute large-scale wall and glass graphics featuring the signature Crunchyroll look for the company's new office in Berlin-Mitte. The project was commissioned by Muse & Co.

The focus was on custom-designed anime motifs that were created specifically for the rooms and provided to us as print files. The graphics were supplied to us for production.

The goal was a long-lasting design that combines branding, atmosphere, and brand recognition. In total, just under 300 m² of wall space and several glass surfaces within the offices were covered with wallpaper and custom decorative glass film, respectively.

Task: Creating wall art for the new Crunchyroll office in Berlin-Mitte.

  1. Consultation and material selection
    • Assistance in selecting suitable self-adhesive materials for wall and glass surfaces
    • Production of material samples
    • Shipment of samples to the USA for approval
    • Coordination of the final material decision before production begins

  2. Measurement and Preparation
    • On-site measurements at the new Crunchyroll office in Berlin-Mitte
    • Preparation of a site plan as a basis for the graphic development
    • Inspection of wall surfaces, room junctions, and structural features

  3. Production of wall and glass surfaces
    • Printing of large-format textile wallpapers with continuous patterns
    • Production of individually printed glass decorative films with gradient
    • Preparation of materials for on-site assembly

  4. On-site installation
    • Priming of wall surfaces for the durable adhesion of wallpaper
    • Cutting the wallpaper directly on site
    • Overlapping installation of wallpaper
    • Installation of continuous designs across multiple walls and lengths sometimes exceeding 20 meters.
    • Application of printed decorative glass films for privacy screening in office areas

Material:

  • Printed, B1-certified textile wallpaper for full-surface wall design and permanent indoor use.
  • Printed, transparent film with a custom gradient for privacy on office glass surfaces.

Execution:

The project began when Muse & Co. reached out. Following initial coordination via video calls and an on-site visit, the initial focus was on selecting the right materials. Since the wall surfaces were to feature a permanent design and the motifs were intended to span large areas across multiple walls, the choice of material was a pivotal step in the project.

To verify the choice of materials, samples were produced and sent to the USA for approval. Production commenced once the material was confirmed and the final print files had been received. Both the textile wall coverings and the custom-designed gradient glass decorative films were printed.

Prior to production, precise on-site measurements were taken. Based on this data, a site plan was created to serve as a guide for the graphic designer in further developing the designs. It was particularly important to ensure that the final design would not only work on individual wall sections but also align seamlessly across multiple walls.

Before installation, the wall surfaces were primed to ensure secure, long-lasting adhesion of the wallpaper. Subsequently, the printed wallpaper was custom-cut on-site and applied with an overlap. Due to sloped surfaces, cable trays, and various structural junctions, specific areas required on-the-spot adjustments during installation.

A particular challenge was the precise application of continuous designs across multiple walls. In some instances, the motifs spanned a width of over 20 meters and wrapped around corners. Achieving a seamless fit required the use of accurate laser technology and experienced installation personnel. The chosen material also proved easy to work with, facilitating a precise installation.

To complement the wall design, several glass surfaces were covered with custom-printed decorative films. These films featured a gradient design and were applied in front of office areas to provide privacy without visually interrupting the room's design.

The result is a comprehensive office design featuring the Crunchyroll aesthetic, where large-format anime imagery, wall graphics, and privacy films combine to create a cohesive overall look. The precise alignment of the designs across corners and multiple wall surfaces, in particular, defines the project's high-quality appearance. Feedback on the outcome was overwhelmingly positive. Challenges encountered during the project were clearly communicated through close coordination and resolved effectively.

Wall Print - Direct

We don’t print for the wall. We print on it.

Our wall printer applies images, illustrations, and messages directly onto virtually any flat wall surface—delivering razor-sharp, durable, and instantly dry results thanks to direct UV printing. No vinyl. No wallpaper. No limits.

This allows even large-format designs to be realized without visible film edges, wallpaper seams, or additional backing materials. Printing is possible on a wide range of flat surfaces, such as plaster, concrete, wood, glass, or metal. Whether for subtle office branding, room-filling illustrations, wayfinding systems, exhibition graphics, or unique wall designs, wall printing combines creative freedom with modern printing technology.

We precisely align the wall printer on-site and execute the design directly onto the desired surface.
