“Poverty Line,” a Caritas campaign, Pariser Platz in front of the Brandenburg Gate, June 2010.

Even events at unusual or prestigious locations require appropriate framing. The "Poverty Line" campaign was launched to draw attention to growing poverty in Germany. As part of the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion, it helped raise awareness of social inequalities. Pariser Platz in front of Brandenburg Gate provided a prominent backdrop to communicate the message to a broad audience.

Task: Cutting and mounting large PVC banners

For this socially significant event, we produced and assembled materials that underscored the significance of the event through high quality and precision.

  1. Printing PVC banners
    • Full-surface printing of the PVC banner in red

  2. Contour cutting of PVC banners
    • Printed and non-printed film cut to size

  3. Installation of the PVC banners
    • finished banners glued on site.

Material:

  • PVC banners: Robust, non-slip and weather-resistant banners, individually printed and contour-cut.

Execution:

  • Precise contour cutting for all elements.
  • Careful laying out of the PVC banner
  • Professional installation of the installations on site.

The combination of high-quality materials, Caritas' thoughtful design, and our professional execution helped make the "Poverty Line" campaign a visually striking statement. It captured passersby's attention and made the issue's importance visible.
