Tasks:
Wayfinding system for new office complex in Berlin-Tempelhof featuring wall murals and specialized acrylic signs
Material:
Polished, engraved acrylic glass panels with colored transparent film overlay, specially fabricated and painted aluminum frames, B1 fire-rated certified photo wallpaper
Execution:
For the innovation center in Ullsteinhaus, a wayfinding system was developed. For each office, aluminum frames were welded and painted, onto which the acrylic signs were mounted. The signs feature crystal-clear flame-polished edges, with room numbers engraved and filled with white paint.
Additionally, transparent frames for room occupancy displays were constructed. Service areas and restrooms were marked with smaller wall signs. All signs are screw-free and installed using drilled holes and threaded inserts.
Passages to work areas were designed with large-format digital prints on high-adhesion photo wallpaper.
