Museums, Exhibitions & Culture

Museums, galleries, exhibition venues, memorial sites, and cultural centers place high demands on visual and technical execution. Working from finalized designs, we produce and install prints, lettering, and wayfinding systems for both temporary exhibitions and permanent displays.

Challenges in Museums, Exhibitions & Culture

Exhibition designs must convey content precisely while blending harmoniously into the space. Reliable color reproduction is just as important as the dimensional and structural stability of the materials used. For instance, wallpaper strips must not visibly shrink or create unsightly seams after installation. Furthermore, varying substrates, tight installation schedules, and fixed opening dates necessitate careful preparation and coordinated installation.

Solutions

We assess the technical feasibility of the supplied designs, provide advice on material selection, and handle everything from measurements and sampling to production and installation. Our key production methods include panel printing, wallpaper printing, and screen printing. In addition, we produce signage and wayfinding systems for interiors and exhibition areas. Carefully selected materials, controlled production processes, and expert workmanship ensure that colors, formats, and joints align with the intended visual design. For temporary exhibitions, we also handle the dismantling.

Applications

Our solutions are used for special and permanent exhibitions, historical presentations, art and cultural projects, and in visitor and information areas. For the exhibition "Lufthansa in Tempelhof 1926–1945," we produced and installed elements including wallpaper on movable walls, printed textiles, and custom-made index panels. At the Museum der Dinge, we created a wall print measuring approximately three by two meters directly onto a plastered surface. Other applications include printed exhibition panels, environmental graphics, wayfinding systems, and exhibit labeling.

Customer benefit

Museums, cultural institutions, and production agencies benefit from reliable technical implementation of their finalized designs. Services—including consultation, site measurements, sampling, production, installation, and—where required—dismantling—are seamlessly coordinated. This minimizes interfaces, simplifies coordination, and ensures reliability regarding fixed opening dates. It also allows for the consistent integration of various printing techniques and materials within a single project. Fotoreklame ensures that the submitted designs are transformed into a precisely manufactured and expertly installed exhibition.

    Wall Print - Direct

We don’t print for the wall. We print on it.

Our wall printer applies images, illustrations, and messages directly onto virtually any flat wall surface—delivering razor-sharp, durable, and instantly dry results thanks to direct UV printing. No vinyl. No wallpaper. No limits.

This allows even large-format designs to be realized without visible film edges, wallpaper seams, or additional backing materials. Printing is possible on a wide range of flat surfaces, such as plaster, concrete, wood, glass, or metal. Whether for subtle office branding, room-filling illustrations, wayfinding systems, exhibition graphics, or unique wall designs, wall printing combines creative freedom with modern printing technology.

We precisely align the wall printer on-site and execute the design directly onto the desired surface.
